I prefer the term “Parabolic Flight” but in any case I’d love to do this once. You pay about $4000 for a total of about 300 seconds of zero gravity (which comes in chunks of 20-25 seconds).
Too bad that you apparently have to go to the US or to Russia to do this. There’s a center in France but it does not seem to be commercial. If anybody knows a place to get on a vomit comet tour in Germany (or at least Europe) I’d be very grateful to know.
About a year ago the first (minor) surgery under zero gravity was performed. Concerning long manned missions to Mars, NASA is also rethinking its “no sex in space” and “the astronaut’s health is more important than the mission” policies.
