In the supermarkets I’ve been to so far there were no price tags on the shelves but only on the products themselves. This makes comparing prices harder, but has the advantage that, while you’re having your breakfast cereal, you can make computations about how much money you’re currently chewing on (as the price of the box is staring in your face).

Things are also packaged differently. I’ve only seen h-milk in 0.5 liter (and smaller) cartons. Creme (for cocktails etc.) also comes in small cartons and not in the sort of plastic joghurt cans as in Germany.

Life can be so confusing.  🙂
